Thomas Frank is known for developing young players but has already allowed several academy prospects to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Tottenham‘s transfer window has sparked into life after a sluggish start with the loan signing of Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich most recently, following on from Mohammed Kudus’ £55million arrival.
Palhinha, Kudus and Kota Takai have followed the permanent and pre-agreed signings of Kevin Danso, Mathys Tel and Luka Vuskovic respectively, as Frank’s new-look Spurs side slowly begins to take shape.

Mikey Moore was one of last season’s breakout stars with 22 appearances, three goals and four assists in all competitions, but he’ll have to wait for a place in Frank’s plans after he was loaned out to Rangers.
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Ibrox is the perfect environment for Moore to unleash his talent, and another Spurs youngster will be hoping for the same.
Moore is far from the only Tottenham academy product sent to pastures new for more game-time this summer, with Will Lankshear and Jamie Donley also completing moves to Oxford and Stoke respectively.
Tottenham will therefore have a plethora of Championship and Scottish Premiership matches to keep an eye on next season, but Frank will also be watchful of Wycombe Wanderers‘ progress in League One.

That’s after George Abbott – who impressed in League Two with Notts County last season – completed a season-long switch to Wycombe on 6 August, and posted on Instagram outside Adams Park.
Abbott said he was; “Excited for the season and can’t wait to push on!”, in his post, and Moore left a comment in support to say; “Top mate” alongside an applause emoji.

Football Insider Verdict
Moore, Abbott and the rest of Tottenham’s young loanees will be back in North London next summer at the latest, but Frank is still planning plenty of changes to his first team before the season commences.
Son Heung-min’s departure to Los Angeles FC looks set to be confirmed imminently, and Richarlison is another senior figure in attack who has been tipped for the exit door with a return to Brazil on the cards.
Frank has plenty of work to do if Tottenham’s frontline is to fire on all cylinders next season, but looking ahead to 2026, he’ll hope that Moore, Abbott, Lankshear and others all return from their loans in firm first-team contention.
